To edit my pictures I use Adobe Photoshop CS5.
Photoshop is such a great program to use to edit your photos as well as create new things. While editing you can change any setting you want with the photo. I really enjoy being able to make already great looking photos look even better! With Photoshop, you are the artist and free to make your photos look however you would like.
Another thing that I really like about photoshop is that it does not save over your original image. That way if you want to do something else with your original image, you are free to do so and create as many edited copies as you wish.
