Rain Makes Corn, Corn Makes Whiskey, Whiskey Makes My Baby . . . Feel a Little Frisky

My house is right by a corn field . . . and I must say, I love it!  The sun sets right behind the house and having the corn in front of it makes it really beautiful!  Tonight I was floating around in the pool and noticed how pretty the sky and corn looked so I decided to start taking pictures . . . These were the outcome . . .

The sprinkler was going in the back yard. . . I think this picture truly shows what summer is all about . . . Water, Sun and Fun!

The Clouds Were Just Bea-u-ti-ful!

July 9th, 2011: Indiana Beach

A few weeks ago, I went to Indiana Beach with my Mom, Dad, Aunt, and good friend, Kyle.  We had a blast!  I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few that I took! :)

New Logo and Watermark!

I just finished installing the free trial of Adobe Photoshop CS5 on my laptop...I have to say, it is very confusing and hard to get used to at first, but if you look things up online (I mostly used video tutorials) it helps a bunch!

First I made a new logo for my site . . . Here it is . . . What do you think?

*It's nothing fancy, but later on, once I become more advanced in Photoshop, I will make a better one*

I also designed two new, basic, watermarks for all of my pictures!  Here is the first one on a picture of Cole that I took this spring!

This is the watermark by itself.  What do you think?!

Clouds - Quotography

I saw this on a friend's blog and thought that I would give it a try . . . This is my first photo challenge that I've done on my blog, and I hope to continue to do more!


I took this image earlier today and thought that the quote "Sit on a cloud and visit for a while, it would do me good just to see them smile" from Justin Moore's song If Heaven Wasn't so Far Away would go great with this picture.

July 4th 2011 - Fireworks

Happy 4th Of July!  I had a great time yesterday hanging out with my family at the parade and the fireworks.  I hope you all had as good of a time as I did! :) 

The fireworks were pretty awesome, and I was really surprised at how great the pictures that I took turned out!  Here are a few of them!
