Tonight I took a little drive out in the country and took a few pictures of the sunset and the awesome scenery. We kind of had a break from the hot weather so I was actually able to have the windows down and the air conditioner off...It felt great!

The Feudin' Hillbilly's - Sidney Fun Daze - July 27th, 2012
Last night I went to see the Feudin' Hillbilly's in Sidney, IL. My parents are the ones who introduced me to the band a few years ago, and ever since then I have went to every show that I could. They play great music and always know how to have a great time. They range from country, to classic rock, to some hip-hop/rap. No matter what they are playin' they sound great! Here are some of the pictures that I took last night.
I also took some video!

Tonights Sunset
Tonight I was out driving around and I noticed how cool the sunset was; so I ran home and grabbed my camera and headed out into the country to snap some shots of it! Here are the pictures that I snapped! Comment below and let me know what you think!
There is nothing that I love more than a perfect sunset while driving in the country with the windows down and music blaring!

WW: Let Freedom Ring
This year my Fourth of July was awesome! I got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends --which is always great. Ate a lot of awesome food, and watched the beautiful fireworks explode in the night sky. I saw the "Let Freedom Ring" Wordless Wednesday Photo Challenge and just had to enter a few of my pictures in it to share how amazing my Independence Day was.
To start the day off, despite the heat, me and my family headed to our town's parade. The Fire Department had one of their trucks spraying everywhere to cool people off!
We watched the parade . . .
Thank You to the Men and Women that serve our country and continue to fight for our Freedom!
We celebrated America's birthday . . .
I think that watching the fireworks really made me realize how awesome it is to be in a county like America . . . The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave . . . None of this would be possible without the Brave Men and Women who sacrifice their lives to keep our country safe and free.

4th of July Parade!
Finally I am getting around to posting my pictures from the Parade on the 4th! My mom, aunt, cousin, and I have been going to the parade ever since I can remember...Rain or shine we are there...We call it our "Family Tradition." This year it was 100 degrees and guess what? We were still there! We had a great time watching -- and I got some pretty good pictures!

My Truck -- 1998 Ford F150 XL
I don't know what has gotten into me lately but I have been taking pictures like crazy! Today I washed my truck and took it out into the country to take a few pictures of it. The weather wasn't the best -- It was starting to cloud up looking like it was going to storm, but here are the best pictures that I took!
. . . Looking out my rearview I see this decal and know that he is riding with me . . . |
For those of you who don't know my truck belonged to my Grandpa (who I call Pap) before it belonged to me. My Pap passed away in February of 2011. This truck really means a lot to me because it was HIS before it was mine. -- Especially since I have a lot of memories with him wrapped up in this truck.
